The supporters of GKS OLIMPIA GRUDZIĄDZ booed when FC Dwa Do Ósmej was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Witomir Klucznik didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, GKS OLIMPIA GRUDZIĄDZ's Herbert Gomolka got control of the ball when Beniamin Ochabski tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 18th match minute, FC Dwa Do Ósmej was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Borys Mirowski to maneuver through the defense. Florian Iwanowski took the ball and in the 19 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tytus Budzyn. Tytus Budzyn dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Herbert Gomolka made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ryszard Biskupiak in the 25th minute of play. 28 minutes into the match, GKS OLIMPIA GRUDZIĄDZ's goalkeeper Herbert Gomolka had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Robert Teofila. After a rather tough play, FC Dwa Do Ósmej's Eugeniusz Fleszar got a free kick in the 29th minute. FC Dwa Do Ósmej's Tytus Budzyn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wit Kasperowicz in the 31st minute of play. GKS OLIMPIA GRUDZIĄDZ made a substitution. Karol Bojanowski replaced Wawrzyniec Cipinski. The supporters of GKS OLIMPIA GRUDZIĄDZ booed when FC Dwa Do Ósmej was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Beniamin Ochabski didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Florian Iwanowski in the 35th minute of play forced FC Dwa Do Ósmej's goalkeeper Tytus Budzyn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ryszard Biskupiak sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a rather tough play, FC Dwa Do Ósmej's Teobald Tepper got a free kick in the 41st minute. In the 43rd minute Olaf Kostrzewski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tytus Budzyn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After the first half GKS OLIMPIA GRUDZIĄDZ were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Wit Kasperowicz made the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute, Dominik Miazga hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 56th match minute, GKS OLIMPIA GRUDZIĄDZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dominik Miazga to maneuver through the defense. FC Dwa Do Ósmej's Robert Teofila couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 58th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for GKS OLIMPIA GRUDZIĄDZ. 60 minutes into the game, Wit Kasperowicz recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Tytus Budzyn. Wit Kasperowicz showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-2. Tytus Budzyn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Florian Iwanowski, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. Dominik Miazga charged in rather forcefully in the 64th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dominik Miazga the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 66 minutes into the game, Pankracy Pietrowicz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Dwa Do Ósmej's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave GKS OLIMPIA GRUDZIĄDZ the free kick. The supporters of GKS OLIMPIA GRUDZIĄDZ booed when FC Dwa Do Ósmej was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pankracy Pietrowicz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ryszard Biskupiak fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Herbert Gomolka having to interfere. Karol Burdalski kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. Herbert Gomolka took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ryszard Biskupiak, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Florian Iwanowski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tytus Budzyn having to interfere. When the final whistle sounded GKS OLIMPIA GRUDZIĄDZ left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than FC Dwa Do Ósmej.
