The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 10th minute, Igor Cichowski got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Modlau's Izydor Limanowski got a free kick in the 14th minute. A collision led to Modlau getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Bernard Charamut hit a great ball. Piast Leszczyny's Jakub Wieczorek played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Remigiusz Huk in the 17th minute of play. The supporters of Piast Leszczyny booed when Modlau was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Remigiusz Huk didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 19th minute Gwidon Gejda shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Krzysztof Cielencki saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Modlau's Krzysztof Cielencki played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gwidon Gejda in the 21st minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Witold Debowski during the 22nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Modlau booed when Piast Leszczyny was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Konrad Leper didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jakub Wieczorek stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Kelaino Mbappè's shot from short distance in the 40th minute. The referee felt a red card was in order, 48 minutes into the game, when Kajetan Mazierski put in a rough tackle. The referee gave Modlau a penalty, 49 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Krzysztof Klejnowski, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Piast Leszczyny's Jakub Wieczorek. 1-1. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Radoslaw Pawlak to make the kick off. In the 55th minute, Igor Cichowski got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Krzysztof Klejnowski was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 66 minutes into the match. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 66th minute of the game. One of Modlau:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Piast Leszczyny:s goal. The referee gave Piast Leszczyny a penalty, 68 minutes into the game. Krzysztof Cielencki came out of the goal and Grzegorz Pozorski tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Radoslaw Pawlak received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Krzysztof Cielencki tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Krzysztof Cielencki took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Radoslaw Pawlak, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Krzysztof Cielencki made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Radoslaw Pawlak in the 98th minute of play. Modlau's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
