Szczepan Plachetka was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 38 minutes into the match. In a very dangerous position, a player in Zielonka Gdansk fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 37th minute. Penalty! The referee gave Pisanki SA a penalty, 39 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Julian Jaktorowo, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Zielonka Gdansk's Stefan Ciempa. 3-1. Stanislaw Tobaczewski's late challenge caught a Zielonka Gdansk's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Robertas Lewandowski's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Feliks Sierocki read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 70th minute of play.
