Hatemi Sabih dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. 35 minutes into the game, Kacper Witwicki was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. The Gunners Juniors's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Buldogi the free kick. Bogdan Bierfass showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kristoffer Nimtofte in the 36th minute of the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Eugeniusz Rydzyk was the one to do the kick off. Bogdan Bierfass made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jesús Imaz in the 55th minute of play. In the 58th minute, Péter Lendvay hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 62 played minutes The Gunners Juniors got a freekick which was hit by Jesús Imaz. After some fancy dribbling in the 64th minute, Ulryk Dulemba managed to get in a good position for a shot. Buldogi's supporters rose to their feet, but Ulryk Dulemba was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Wojciech Winnicki breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Buldogi booed when The Gunners Juniors was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Simon Sundin didn't get a good kick on the ball.
