Barnaba Kiszkiel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lucjan Burufski in the 7th minute of play. Idacio Helguera hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. Szczepan Jazowski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dobromir Raszkiewicz in the 21st minute of the match. In the 25th minute Idacio Helguera shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Szczepan Jazowski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Barnaba Kiszkiel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Valdomiro Guerra in the 28th minute of play. 29 minutes into the match, MKS Mazur Ełk's goal looked a bit too open when Lucjan Burufski came free, but Barnaba Kiszkiel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Iwan Kolacki fell near the penalty area in the 36th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored MKS Mazur Ełk's protests and gave Iwan Kolacki a yellow card for diving instead. In the 36th minute, Iwan Kolacki hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The penalty shot was made by Ryszard Jaszyna, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of MKS Mazur Ełk's Barnaba Kiszkiel. 0-2. After the first half AKS Kozienice were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Lucjan Burufski to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Cyprian Witwicki got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 60th match minute, AKS Kozienice was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lucjan Burufski to maneuver through the defense. MKS Mazur Ełk's Roman Gdowski was substituted for Daniel Tjernström. After 61 played minutes AKS Kozienice got a freekick which was hit by Lucjan Burufski. Filipo Inzaghi might have been able to make a better finish in the 63rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Szczepan Jazowski. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. In the 63rd minute the ball was on its way in behind AKS Kozienice's goalkeeper Szczepan Jazowski, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. A collision led to AKS Kozienice getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Ryszard Jaszyna hit a great ball. Ryszard Jaszyna kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. In the 66th minute of the match Jamal Musiala shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Szczepan Jazowski showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Cyprian Witwicki received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Barnaba Kiszkiel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 77 minutes into the match, AKS Kozienice's goal looked a bit too open when Filipo Inzaghi came free, but Szczepan Jazowski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Dobromir Chodzinski fell near the penalty area in the 78th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored AKS Kozienice's protests and gave Dobromir Chodzinski a yellow card for diving instead. Dobromir Chodzinski hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. AKS Kozienice's Szczepan Jazowski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Filipo Inzaghi in the 79th minute of play. In the 88th minute the ball was on its way in behind AKS Kozienice's goalkeeper Szczepan Jazowski, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a rather tough play, MKS Mazur Ełk's Dobromir Raszkiewicz got a free kick in the 94th minute. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched AKS Kozienice eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
