Spectators: 151 (Terracing: 114, Seating: 34, VIP seats: 3) Jari Welling started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. 4 minutes into the match, Palloketut's goal looked a bit too open when Ionuț Mureșan came free, but Jyrki Rajamäki reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ralph Woodyat made in the 7th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Gregory Rawson however managed to control. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ionuț Mureșan in the 8th minute of play forced Palloketut's goalkeeper Jyrki Rajamäki to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jari Welling's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Zak Lloyd read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 12th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ionuț Mureșan in the 13th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jyrki Rajamäki prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jyrki Rajamäki showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ionuț Mureșan, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. The supporters of The Tigers booed when Palloketut was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alpi Askolin didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ionuț Mureșan in the 17th minute of play forced Palloketut's goalkeeper Jyrki Rajamäki to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jyrki Rajamäki stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ionuț Mureșan's shot from short distance in the 19th minute. The supporters of The Tigers booed when Palloketut was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Iisakki Niinimaa didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Iisakki Niinimaa fell near the penalty area in the 22nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Palloketut's protests and gave Iisakki Niinimaa a yellow card for diving instead. In the 22nd minute, Iisakki Niinimaa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ionuț Mureșan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jari Welling blasted a shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Zak Lloyd having to make a save. When The Tigers's Ionuț Mureșan in the 28th minute got a chance for a shot 28th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Palloketut's goalie prevented a goal. The audience was convinced that Ionuț Mureșan's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jyrki Rajamäki was relentless in the 39th minute of the game. In the 41st minute Ionuț Mureșan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jyrki Rajamäki saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ionuț Mureșan made a kick off. After 53 played minutes Palloketut got a freekick which was hit by Eevert Hati. After a rather tough play, Palloketut's Jari Welling got a free kick in the 56th minute. After 60 minutes, Ionuț Mureșan made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Palloketut's Jyrki Rajamäki tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 68 minutes into the game, Palloketut's Jari Welling nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Zak Lloyd made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. 72 minutes into the match, The Tigers's Ionuț Mureșan sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jyrki Rajamäki narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Palloketut's Iisakki Niinimaa got a good chance for a goal in the 74th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Kaj Ahola might have been able to make a better finish in the 79th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Zak Lloyd. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Kaj Ahola ran back to his position shaking his head. Palloketut's Jyrki Rajamäki proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 83rd minute of the match, managed to save Palloketut from getting a goal against them. Alpi Askolin's late challenge caught a The Tigers's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alpi Askolin helped the player get up and apologised. In the 84th match minute, Palloketut was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alpi Askolin to maneuver through the defense. After 88 minutes of play, Palloketut's Jari Welling made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Zak Lloyd was left in no man's land by his defense there! The Tigers's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
