Rudolf Gaarsmand didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Karhulan Veikot. Arttu Piiroinen kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. Karhulan Veikot's Joona Rosenqvist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sivart Core in the 5th minute of play. Sivart Core took the ball and in the 7 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Joona Rosenqvist. Joona Rosenqvist dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 10th minute, Sivart Core managed to get in a good position for a shot. BRONCOS's supporters rose to their feet, but Sivart Core was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Joona Rosenqvist breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Berndt Schmedes blasted a shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Joona Rosenqvist having to make a save. In the 16th minute, Berndt Schmedes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Karhulan Veikot getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Teuvo Karjalainen hit a great ball. In the 22nd minute, Yrjänä Vihtilä hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Arttu Piiroinen charged in rather forcefully in the 30th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Arttu Piiroinen the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 30 played minutes Karhulan Veikot got a freekick which was hit by Arttu Piiroinen. A collision led to BRONCOS getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Reiner Rubeck hit a great ball. 37 minutes into the game, Aadolf Martikainen recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Rudolf Gaarsmand. Aadolf Martikainen showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. The supporters of Karhulan Veikot booed when BRONCOS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lynge Lethra didn't get a good kick on the ball. Karhulan Veikot's Valentin Uusiniemi got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aadolf Martikainen in the 44th minute of play forced BRONCOS's goalkeeper Rudolf Gaarsmand to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Berndt Schmedes stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Arttu Piiroinen was shown his second yellow card after 55 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. A collision led to Karhulan Veikot getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Arttu Piiroinen hit a great ball. With a little luck, Karhulan Veikot's Joona Rosenqvist got control of the ball when Sivart Core tried to sneak it across the goal line. Joona Rosenqvist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Berndt Schmedes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 78 minutes, Aadolf Martikainen mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Karhulan Veikot and the BRONCOS players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 78th minute, Aadolf Martikainen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sivart Core got free with Joona Rosenqvist in the 82nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Sivart Core could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 88th minute of the match, but Joona Rosenqvist made a huge save. 92 minutes into the match, Karhulan Veikot's goal looked a bit too open when Berndt Schmedes came free, but Joona Rosenqvist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. During the 94th minute of the match Aadolf Martikainen completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Aadolf Martikainen a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 95th match minute, Karhulan Veikot was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aadolf Martikainen to maneuver through the defense. BRONCOS were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
