Gary Gowan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Gynther Birking tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gynther Birking made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Gynther Birking made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tyler McCraw in the 36th minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gabriel Starkfeld made a kick off. FC Ringparken's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Logan McCubbin 52 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-2. In the 55th match minute, Rangers FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Patrick Sporran to maneuver through the defense. 56 minutes into the game, Gerner Nitsche was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Ringparken's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Rangers FC the free kick. Gerner Nitsche kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. Raymond Johnston came free with the goalkeeper in the 57th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Gynther Birking could save by the left post. Gerner Nitsche hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. FC Ringparken's Gynther Birking played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Danny Gilespie in the 61st minute of play. If Tyler McCraw had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The long shot by Bradley Carr in the 91st minute really tested Gynther Birking's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Gynther Birking made a fantastic save in the 93rd minute, when Raymond Johnston sent off a good shot on target. In the 94th minute, Niels Darnig hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 95 played minutes, Rangers FC's Bradley Carr shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Gynther Birking came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Rangers FC reached it. After 96 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for FC Ringparken! In the 100th minute there was a penalty for Rangers FC. Bradley Carr stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Gynther Birking. 2-4. The FC Ringparken supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Rangers FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Rangers FC.
