With a little luck, Parma Wanderers's John-Paul Faulkner got control of the ball when Christian Halstensen tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 73rd minute, Andrea Strano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A hard shot 78 in the game by Christian Halstensen from a close distance when the talented John-Paul Faulkner managed to make a qualified save. Parma Wanderers's players were relieved. Carl Frigstad didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cliff Gordon went, in the 82nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Damian Thurman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Rakkestad IF getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Svend Phan hit a great ball. Carl Frigstad took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Damian Thurman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 96th minute Johnnie Walker shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carl Frigstad saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Parma Wanderers's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
