After 6 minutes of play, Lord of the Wings's Tam Clerk made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ramūnas Morkūnas was left in no man's land by his defense there! A collision led to Lord of the Wings getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Troy McLewis hit a great ball. 12 minutes into the match, Aleksotas FK's goal looked a bit too open when Drew McMurchie came free, but Ramūnas Morkūnas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Konstantinas Briedis kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. After 19 minutes, Agnius Vosylius mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Aleksotas FK and the Lord of the Wings players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 20 played minutes Aleksotas FK got a freekick which was hit by Agnius Vosylius. After a rather tough play, Aleksotas FK's Nojus Peleckas got a free kick in the 21st minute. In the 26th minute Drew McMurchie shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ramūnas Morkūnas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alisdair Ferries showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Virginijus Geibūnas in the 29th minute of the match. Ramūnas Morkūnas made a fantastic save in the 34th minute, when Tam Clerk sent off a good shot on target. The crowd rose to their feet as Drew McMurchie kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ramūnas Morkūnas. That made the score 2-0 in the 35 minute of play. The supporters of Lord of the Wings booed when Aleksotas FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Virginijus Geibūnas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Drew McMurchie fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ramūnas Morkūnas having to interfere.

Drew McMurchie struck a weak shot in the 52nd minute. Ramūnas Morkūnas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lord of the Wings. Ramūnas Morkūnas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ronan Currie, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. Virginijus Geibūnas kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tam Clerk in the 77th minute of play forced Aleksotas FK's goalkeeper Ramūnas Morkūnas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 79th minute, Drew McMurchie left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Lord of the Wings fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-1. When Matthew McHugh came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the Lord of the Wings fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Matthew McHugh couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Drew McMurchie in the 84th minute of play forced Aleksotas FK's goalkeeper Ramūnas Morkūnas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 88th minute, Virginijus Geibūnas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 91 minutes into the game, Lord of the Wings's Tam Clerk nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ramūnas Morkūnas made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-1. After a defensive mix-up in Aleksotas FK's zone, Troy McLewis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ramūnas Morkūnas came out of the goal and Troy McLewis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Lord of the Wings's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
