An unexpectedly hard shot by Johan Malmedal in the 12th minute of play forced Lord of the Wings's goalkeeper Alisdair Ferries to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 13th minute, Øivind Ege made a precise shot to the right of Alisdair Ferries. Lord of the Wings's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Drew McMurchie in the 17th minute of play forced Untte BK's goalkeeper Eilert Østmo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Troy McLewis might have been able to make a better finish in the 19th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Eilert Østmo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Troy McLewis ran back to his position shaking his head. Alisdair Ferries showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hans-Kristian Ås in the 22nd minute of the match. If Tam Clerk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Øivind Ege got free with Alisdair Ferries in the 31st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Trym Haugland during the 34th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Untte BK getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Trym Haugland hit a great ball. Theo Roberts's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Eilert Østmo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 34th minute of play. In the 37th minute, Tam Clerk left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Lord of the Wings fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. 40 minutes into the match, Untte BK's goal looked a bit too open when Tam Clerk came free, but Eilert Østmo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Untte BK's Johan Malmedal got a free kick in the 40th minute. Tam Clerk sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Troy McLewis during the 45th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tam Clerk to strike the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the game, Hans-Kristian Ås cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Alisdair Ferries was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 58th minute, Harold Malcolmson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, Troy McLewis managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lord of the Wings's supporters rose to their feet, but Troy McLewis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eilert Østmo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Tam Clerk's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Eilert Østmo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 81st minute of play. Troy McLewis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eilert Østmo having to interfere. Bertel Furre kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. After having played for 88 minutes, Tam Clerk managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lord of the Wings's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tam Clerk was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Lord of the Wings's Troy McLewis got a free kick in the 91st minute. In the 93rd minute Hans-Kristian Ås shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alisdair Ferries saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Theo Roberts's late challenge caught a Untte BK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Theo Roberts helped the player get up and apologised. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 94th minute of the game. One of Lord of the Wings:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Untte BK:s goal. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Untte BK fans cheered their team off the field, for while Lord of the Wings had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
