Spectators: 161 (Terracing: 121, Seating: 37, VIP seats: 3) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Angelino Figueroa started the match with the kick off. 5 minutes into the game, Albert Purkiss recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Frankie Child. Albert Purkiss showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Frankie Child showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jamie Kemp in the 8th minute of the match. Frankie Child was a little too slow when Albert Purkiss got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 9th minute. The score was now 2-0. Johnathan Morse struck a weak shot in the 15th minute. Frankie Child didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ampthill FC. After a rather tough play, Arrows Academy FC's Kurt Boyce got a free kick in the 15th minute. Frankie Child took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Albert Purkiss, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Johnathan Morse received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Frankie Child tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Simon Roche hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. Frankie Child acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 32nd minute, took the ball on the long shot from Iain Lambert. If Jamie Kemp had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Jeremy Coombe fell near the penalty area in the 40th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ampthill FC's protests and gave Jeremy Coombe a yellow card for diving instead. Jeremy Coombe kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. Conan Langford was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 46 minutes into the match.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Albert Purkiss made a kick off. Jamie Kemp scored 4-0 in the 54th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Frankie Child, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Frankie Child took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Johnathan Morse, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 57 minutes of play Ampthill FC's Jeremy Coombe was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After a rather tough play, Ampthill FC's Iain Lambert got a free kick in the 75th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Angelino Figueroa in the 78th minute of play forced Ampthill FC's goalkeeper Harvey Paget to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Frankie Child showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jamie Kemp, who was totally free with the ball in the 97th minute. When the referee blew the final whistle, Ampthill FC could leave the field as winners, despite Arrows Academy FC having more of the ball for most of the match.
