The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Tarik Enderle received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Raimondas Milašauskas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 5 minutes into the game, Johannes-Paul Heite cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Raimondas Milašauskas was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Raimondas Milašauskas made an important save on a dangerous shot by Johannes-Paul Heite in the 9th minute. With a little luck, Kings's Raimondas Milašauskas got control of the ball when Johannes-Paul Heite tried to sneak it across the goal line. Raimondas Milašauskas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tarik Enderle, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 28 minutes into the game, Tarik Enderle recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Raimondas Milašauskas. Tarik Enderle showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-1. Johannes-Paul Heite could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 31st minute of the match, but Raimondas Milašauskas made a huge save. Raimondas Milašauskas made a fantastic save in the 32nd minute, when Johannes-Paul Heite sent off a good shot on target. With a little luck, Kings's Raimondas Milašauskas got control of the ball when Johannes-Paul Heite tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ričardas Jasinskas hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. In the 36th minute, Ole Meul sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Kings's Raimondas Milašauskas didn't even have to move. In the 39th minute, Johannes-Paul Heite made a precise shot to the right of Raimondas Milašauskas. Kings's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. Raimondas Milašauskas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tarik Enderle in the 42nd minute of play. 47 minutes into the game, Buffalo Bills's Josef Hoff nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Raimondas Milašauskas made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-1. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Johannes-Paul Heite to make the kick off. After 53 played minutes Kings got a freekick which was hit by Kastytis Kabaila. Raimondas Milašauskas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Johannes-Paul Heite in the 57th minute of the match. Raimondas Milašauskas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Josef Hoff, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. Romualdas Kaušpadas's late challenge caught a Buffalo Bills's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Romualdas Kaušpadas helped the player get up and apologised. When Buffalo Bills's Johannes-Paul Heite in the 62nd minute got a chance for a shot 62nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Kings's goalie prevented a goal. In the 66th minute, Nedas Sartauskas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some careless play in the Kings defense, Ole Meul kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Raimondas Milašauskas. The Kings fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Raimondas Milašauskas should have stopped the shot. In the 85th minute Tarik Enderle shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Raimondas Milašauskas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
