Spectators: 161 (Terracing: 121, Seating: 37, VIP seats: 3) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Deimantas Valys started the match with the kick off. In the 2nd minute, Jogaila Jameikis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Aldas Saulis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kęstutis Jakubauskas in the 3rd minute of the match. In the 5thth minute of the game Deimantas Valys who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Lithuanian amber's Kipras Gelžinis was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 5 played minutes Lithuanian amber got a freekick which was hit by Aras Nutautas. The supporters of Lithuanian amber booed when Geležinis Vilkas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kipras Narutavičius didn't get a good kick on the ball. Aldas Saulis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kęstutis Jakubauskas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Deimantas Valys in the 13th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Kipras Gelžinis prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Marius Naujokas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 20th match minute, Lithuanian amber was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Daugirdas Čižiūnas to maneuver through the defense. Kipras Gelžinis was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Redas Merkelis. Oskaras Tulčius kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. Aldas Saulis didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Kęstutis Jakubauskas went, in the 32nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. After 34 minutes of play Lithuanian amber's Aras Nutautas was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 35th minute of the match Redas Merkelis sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Kipras Gelžinis skillfully saved the ball. Aldas Saulis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kęstutis Jakubauskas in the 37th minute of play. If Saulius Barsys had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Lithuanian amber's zone, Saulius Barsys stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kipras Gelžinis came out of the goal and Saulius Barsys tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Kipras Gelžinis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Deimantas Valys in the 47th minute of play.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Kęstutis Jakubauskas to strike the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Deimantas Valys in the 53rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Kipras Gelžinis prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 54th minute Deimantas Valys shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kipras Gelžinis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 55th match minute, Lithuanian amber was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marius Naujokas to maneuver through the defense. Girkantas Laucius hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. Geležinis Vilkas's Aldas Saulis proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 57th minute of the match, managed to save Geležinis Vilkas from getting a goal against them. Kipras Gelžinis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Deimantas Valys in the 59th minute of play. Kipras Gelžinis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Saulius Barsys in the 61st minute of the match. Paulius Dabulskis hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. Marius Naujokas charged in rather forcefully in the 68th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. When Saulius Barsys came up free with the goalie in the 78th minute, the Geležinis Vilkas fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Saulius Barsys couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 81st minute, Deimantas Valys managed to get in a good position for a shot. Geležinis Vilkas's supporters rose to their feet, but Deimantas Valys was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kipras Gelžinis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Jogaila Jameikis fell near the penalty area in the 87th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Geležinis Vilkas's protests and gave Jogaila Jameikis a yellow card for diving instead. In the 87th minute, Jogaila Jameikis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Geležinis Vilkas's Aldas Saulis proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 92nd minute of the match, managed to save Geležinis Vilkas from getting a goal against them. Jogaila Jameikis hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. After 94 played minutes Geležinis Vilkas got a freekick which was hit by Deimantas Valys. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Lithuanian amber eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
