Kings's defense didn't have a chance, in the 5th minute, when Thomas Lauridsen scored to the left of an out of position Raimondas Milašauskas, making the score, 1-0. The referee felt a red card was in order, 11 minutes into the game, when Herman Sloots put in a rough tackle. In a very dangerous position, a player in AB Tårnby fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 10th minute. Penalty! In the 15th minute Romualdas Kaušpadas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Terkild Lukasen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Morten Hjulmand fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Raimondas Milašauskas having to interfere. Alf Schlippe hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. In the 24th minute, Morten Hjulmand hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 27th match minute, AB Tårnby was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Buster Falum to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Kings's Kristupas Paškevičius got a free kick in the 34th minute. Kings's Raimondas Milašauskas proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 39th minute of the match, managed to save Kings from getting a goal against them. Buster Falum received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Raimondas Milašauskas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thomas Lauridsen came free with the goalkeeper in the 46th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Raimondas Milašauskas could save by the left post. Bengt Schouenborg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Raimondas Milašauskas having to interfere. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Thomas Lauridsen was the one to do the kick off. In the 56th minute, Buster Falum hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Raimondas Milašauskas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Thomas Lauridsen in the 62nd minute of play. Terkild Lukasen made a fantastic save in the 63rd minute, when Skirmantas Atkočiunas sent off a good shot on target. After a defensive mix-up in Kings's zone, Thomas Lauridsen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Raimondas Milašauskas came out of the goal and Thomas Lauridsen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Thomas Lauridsen came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the AB Tårnby fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Thomas Lauridsen couldn't finish the play. In the 73rd minute, Kristupas Paškevičius hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience was convinced that Thomas Lauridsen's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Raimondas Milašauskas was relentless in the 74th minute of the game. Romualdas Kaušpadas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Raimondas Milašauskas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kristupas Paškevičius charged in rather forcefully in the 90th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Kristupas Paškevičius the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Kings's Kristupas Paškevičius got a free kick in the 90th minute.
