Romualdas Podėris's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 38thth minute, Børge Nystrand skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Romualdas Podėris in the 39thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Børge Nystrand, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After a rather tough play, Pheonix FC's Sam Folmersen got a free kick in the 42nd minute. After recieving a nice pass, Savage Hippo's Almantas Kerežis tried to score from far away in the 43rd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. In the 46th match minute, Savage Hippo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Algimantas Zakaras to maneuver through the defense.

The wind increased when Romualdas Podėris made the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Savage Hippo getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Alfredas Klenkys hit a great ball. After 55 played minutes Pheonix FC got a freekick which was hit by Frederik Beeck. 57 minutes into the match, Alvydas Gabriūnas had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Børge Nystrand. Pheonix FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alvydas Gabriūnas was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. Alvydas Gabriūnas's late challenge caught a Pheonix FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alvydas Gabriūnas helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Savage Hippo getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Alvydas Gabriūnas hit a great ball. The audience was convinced that Romualdas Podėris's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Børge Nystrand was relentless in the 69th minute of the game. Børge Nystrand didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Alfredas Klenkys went, in the 73rd minute, to the upper right corner, 4-1 was the resulting score. A collision led to Savage Hippo getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Simonas Balčys hit a great ball. In the 80thth minute of the game Romualdas Podėris who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Pheonix FC's Børge Nystrand was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Christian Resing charged in rather forcefully in the 82nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Christian Resing the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Christian Resing hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Romualdas Podėris in the 90th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Børge Nystrand prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 96th minute, Romualdas Podėris made a precise shot to the right of Børge Nystrand. Pheonix FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-1. There was no doubt that Savage Hippo were the better team. Savage Hippo's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
