Vikjorden's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SC Otten the free kick. The supporters of SC Otten booed when Vikjorden was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Runar Røe didn't get a good kick on the ball. Asmund Ødegård made a fantastic save in the 5th minute, when Mel Ecker sent off a good shot on target. When the match had gone on for 7 minutes, Kartikeya von Gyldenfeldt took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Asmund Ødegård to make any attempt to save it. Asmund Ødegård was a little too slow when Kartikeya von Gyldenfeldt got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 14th minute. The score was now 2-0. Asmund Ødegård showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hansjörg Görlitz in the 17th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Paul Lindquist during the 24th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 24th match minute, Vikjorden was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paul Lindquist to maneuver through the defense. Asmund Ødegård made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mel Ecker in the 26th minute. In the 36th minute, Kartikeya von Gyldenfeldt left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The SC Otten fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-0. Vikjorden's defense didn't have a chance, in the 39th minute, when Mirco Maier scored to the left of an out of position Asmund Ødegård, making the score, 7-0. 46 minutes into the game, SC Otten's Mirco Maier nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Asmund Ødegård made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 8-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 8-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Kjetil Arnesen was the one to do the kick off. Asmund Ødegård showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mirco Maier in the 54th minute of the match. Asmund Ødegård made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mirco Maier in the 55th minute of play. 57 minutes into the game, SC Otten's Mirco Maier nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. After 77 minutes of play, SC Otten's Ronnie Schilder made it 12-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Asmund Ødegård was left in no man's land by his defense there! Asmund Ødegård showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hansjörg Görlitz, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. Vikjorden's Asmund Ødegård played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rudi Tenhagen in the 85th minute of play. In the 88th minute Hansjörg Görlitz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Asmund Ødegård saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
