Tero Haakana took the ball and in the 8 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Keiran Longstaffe. Keiran Longstaffe dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Dorking United FC's Keiran Longstaffe proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 12th minute of the match, managed to save Dorking United FC from getting a goal against them. Keiran Longstaffe made a fantastic save in the 13th minute, when Tero Haakana sent off a good shot on target. In the 16th minute Ruud van Nistelrooij shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Keiran Longstaffe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Keiran Longstaffe made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ruud van Nistelrooij in the 18th minute. After 19 played minutes Dorking United FC got a freekick which was hit by Tristan Haley. Keiran Longstaffe was out of position in the 25 minute of play, and Tero Haakana capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Tero Haakana really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. Ozzy Goodall's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Juha Jokiranta read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 29th minute of play. 31 minutes into the match, Manchester United FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ozzy Goodall came free, but Juha Jokiranta reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 34th minute of the match, Martti Helin tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Keiran Longstaffe saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Manchester United FC's Juha Jokiranta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tristan Haley in the 35th minute of play. In the 36th minute, Tristan Haley ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Juha Jokiranta was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Martti Helin hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. Manchester United FC's Juha Jokiranta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Al Pool in the 43rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ozzy Goodall in the 46th minute of play forced Manchester United FC's goalkeeper Juha Jokiranta to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Al Pool made a kick off. A hard shot 53 in the game by Ozzy Goodall from a close distance when the talented Juha Jokiranta managed to make a qualified save. Manchester United FC's players were relieved. Keiran Longstaffe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tero Haakana in the 54th minute of play. A collision led to Dorking United FC getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Mitch Beard hit a great ball. In the 59th match minute, Dorking United FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dean Adamson to maneuver through the defense. With an all-out effort, Dorking United FC's Juha Jokiranta threw himself towards the right post 61 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Ozzy Goodall, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After a rather tough play, Manchester United FC's Paavo Salmela got a free kick in the 62nd minute. Buster Bamford took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 62nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Juha Jokiranta. Manchester United FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. When Dean Adamson fell near the penalty area in the 64th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Dorking United FC's protests and gave Dean Adamson a yellow card for diving instead. Paavo Salmela scored 3-1 in the 74th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Keiran Longstaffe, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Manchester United FC's Juha Jokiranta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ozzy Goodall in the 79th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Dorking United FC's zone, Ruud van Nistelrooij stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Keiran Longstaffe came out of the goal and Ruud van Nistelrooij tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Juha Jokiranta was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 84th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Perry Bowler. Juha Jokiranta showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ozzy Goodall in the 86th minute of the match. 86 minutes into the game, Michael Owen was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Manchester United FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Dorking United FC the free kick. Michael Owen kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. Juha Jokiranta took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Al Pool, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Manchester United FC's Juha Jokiranta got control of the ball when Al Pool tried to sneak it across the goal line. With 93 minutes on the clock, Kuisma Kokkonen commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In the 93rd minute, one of Manchester United FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Manchester United FC. For all the effort they put into the match, the Dorking United FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Manchester United FC.
