Saco FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Pegasas Siauliai the free kick. Teis Lisbygd hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. In the 9th minute, Saco FC's Ernst Trads seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Ernst Trads the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Saco FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Ernst Trads had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Ernst Trads hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. Gerhart Almlev charged in rather forcefully in the 11th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gerhart Almlev the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Saco FC booed when FC Pegasas Siauliai was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Valentas Daunoras didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Gerhart Almlev had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Saco FC's attentive Siegmund Milow managed to snatch the ball when Eigirdas Liubinskas made a throw-in in the 34th minute of the game. Villiam Slott sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Saco FC's zone, Gintautas Jameikis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jannich Brolyng came out of the goal and Gintautas Jameikis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Marius Kieža to strike the kick off in the second half. Jannich Brolyng made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Darijus Baltrūnas in the 53rd minute of play. Jannich Brolyng came out of the goal in the 55th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Pegasas Siauliai's Darijus Baltrūnas. But to his dismay, Darijus Baltrūnas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Jannich Brolyng showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marijus Guzas in the 61st minute of the match. Jannich Brolyng showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gintautas Jameikis, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. Darijus Baltrūnas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Jannich Brolyng tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 96th minute Gintautas Jameikis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jannich Brolyng saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. FC Pegasas Siauliai had played much better football throughout.
