The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Thorkild Plougmann made an important save on a dangerous shot by Therkel Norstrand in the 5th minute. Thorkild Plougmann had great luck who in the 10thth minute grab hold of the ball when Spas Mager from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. In the last second Thorkild Plougmann throw himself and got hold of the ball when Spas Mager in the 10thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. In the 14thth minute of the game Spas Mager who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sletteenge's Thorkild Plougmann was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Askild Farquhar in the 21st minute of play forced Vestegnens Betonhelte's goalkeeper Lacy Bastard to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Absalon Domini's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Lacy Bastard was relentless in the 24th minute of the game. Spas Mager who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 27thth minute tested the skills of Thorkild Plougmann when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Thorkild Plougmann came out and tried to block the shot, but Therkel Norstrand slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 34th minute. After 37 played minutes Vestegnens Betonhelte got a freekick which was hit by Bo Lind. Lacy Bastard showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Michel Helbro in the 38th minute of the match. When Vestegnens Betonhelte's Spas Mager in the 40th minute got a chance for a shot 40th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Sletteenge's goalie prevented a goal. Michel Helbro kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. Sletteenge's Thorkild Plougmann proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 46th minute of the match, managed to save Sletteenge from getting a goal against them. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Absalon Domini was the one to do the kick off. Lacy Bastard was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Absalon Domini showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 51 minute of play. Vestegnens Betonhelte's Lacy Bastard played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Absalon Domini in the 55th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Therkel Norstrand in the 60th minute of play forced Sletteenge's goalkeeper Thorkild Plougmann to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 61 played minutes Sletteenge got a freekick which was hit by Gustav Balkov. With a little luck, Vestegnens Betonhelte's Lacy Bastard got control of the ball when Absalon Domini tried to sneak it across the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Absalon Domini kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Lacy Bastard. That made the score 1-2 in the 70 minute of play. Absalon Domini received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Lacy Bastard tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Absalon Domini could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 76th minute of the match, but Lacy Bastard made a huge save. When Therkel Norstrand fell near the penalty area in the 80th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Vestegnens Betonhelte's protests and gave Therkel Norstrand a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Vestegnens Betonhelte's Therkel Norstrand got a free kick in the 80th minute. Sletteenge made a substitution. Håkon Eding replaced Michel Helbro. In the 81st match minute, Vestegnens Betonhelte was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Therkel Norstrand to maneuver through the defense. 84 minutes into the match, Sletteenge's goal looked a bit too open when Therkel Norstrand came free, but Thorkild Plougmann reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 86 played minutes Sletteenge got a freekick which was hit by Håkon Eding. Sletteenge's Thorkild Plougmann played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gabe Gaab in the 88th minute of play. 89 minutes into the match, Sletteenge's goal looked a bit too open when Therkel Norstrand came free, but Thorkild Plougmann reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Sletteenge getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Thorfinn Birkvad hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 91st minute, Willy Jægerskou managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vestegnens Betonhelte's supporters rose to their feet, but Willy Jægerskou was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Thorkild Plougmann breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Valther Fønsskov hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. Thorkild Plougmann took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kenny Atke, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Sletteenge eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
