Möhnsen FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Robert Hammond was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. Robert Hammond fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hermann Althaus having to interfere. Garlic Eaters's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Gez Barber in the 40th minute. Robert Hammond sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luke Lovell kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. After 48 minutes of play, Garlic Eaters's Robert Hammond made it 0-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Hermann Althaus was left in no man's land by his defense there! The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-5.

The wind increased when Knut Kuschel made the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute, Robert Hammond ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Hermann Althaus was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-6. Günther Kaiser hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Robert Hammond got free with Hermann Althaus in the 64th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Bruninho Falcão hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. Möhnsen FC's Hermann Althaus played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by James Tuck in the 67th minute of play. 71 minutes into the game, Knut Kuschel cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-6. Gul Keep was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Knut Kuschel in the 77th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gul Keep saved Garlic Eaters from getting behind. Hermann Althaus made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bruninho Falcão in the 80th minute of play. Robert Hammond sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 87th minute, Wofgang Goldkuhle hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Möhnsen FC's zone, Robert Hammond stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hermann Althaus came out of the goal and Robert Hammond tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Hermann Althaus showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from James Tuck in the 92nd minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Wofgang Goldkuhle during the 93rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Möhnsen FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 93rd minute. Penalty! With his leg Hermann Althaus managed to avoid a goal in the 98thth minute, when Garlic Eaters's Robert Hammond fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 99 minutes into the match, Möhnsen FC's Knut Kuschel sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gul Keep narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When the final whistle sounded Garlic Eaters left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Möhnsen FC.
