An unexpectedly hard shot by Eric Stav in the 10th minute of play forced Hamburg Fighters's goalkeeper Matthew Jastrzembowski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 10th minute, Eric Stav hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some careless play in the Kiken IF defense, Berti Stand kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gard Nordheim. The Kiken IF fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gard Nordheim should have stopped the shot. In the 17th match minute, Kiken IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Birk Ramfjord to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Hamburg Fighters booed when Kiken IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Julius Bakker didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gard Nordheim made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Burkhard Niebler in the 22nd minute of play. The supporters of Kiken IF booed when Hamburg Fighters was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jakob Karhoff didn't get a good kick on the ball. Matthew Jastrzembowski acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 24th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Thor Grannes. Walt Schräder took the ball and in the 31 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gard Nordheim. Gard Nordheim dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. 37 minutes into the game, Hamburg Fighters's Berti Stand nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gard Nordheim made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. The Kiken IF fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gard Nordheim should have stopped the shot. After the first half Hamburg Fighters were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Peder Hamre was the one to do the kick off. Gard Nordheim came out of the goal in the 52nd minute to try and stop a shot by Hamburg Fighters's Sören Rappmann. But to his dismay, Sören Rappmann quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. Gard Nordheim showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Berti Stand, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. Kiken IF's Gard Nordheim played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Burkhard Niebler in the 60th minute of play. When Yngvar Lorentsen fell near the penalty area in the 61st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Kiken IF's protests and gave Yngvar Lorentsen a yellow card for diving instead. Yngvar Lorentsen hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. 67 minutes into the match, Kiken IF's goal looked a bit too open when Sören Rappmann came free, but Gard Nordheim reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 70 minutes of play, Hamburg Fighters's Friedel Wahlberg made it 0-6 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gard Nordheim was left in no man's land by his defense there! Gard Nordheim made an important save on a dangerous shot by Berti Stand in the 75th minute. In the 77th minute of the match Birk Ramfjord shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Matthew Jastrzembowski showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 82nd minute of the match, Burkhard Niebler tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Gard Nordheim saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Gard Nordheim showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Berti Stand in the 84th minute of the match. Hamburg Fighters's Matthew Jastrzembowski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Peder Hamre in the 89th minute of play. Gard Nordheim was out of position in the 92 minute of play, and Burkhard Niebler capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Burkhard Niebler really showed his touch with that goal: 0-7. After 95 played minutes Kiken IF got a freekick which was hit by Birk Ramfjord. 96 minutes into the match, Hamburg Fighters's Berti Stand broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. When the match was over Hamburg Fighters could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Kiken IF throughout the match.
