Spectators: 161 (Terracing: 121, Seating: 37, VIP seats: 3) Garlic Eaters's Robert Hammond started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 2nd minute, James Tuck ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Skarphéðinn Ormarsson was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Jarl Kormáksson kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. In the 18th minute, Garlic Eaters's Robert Hammond ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Skarphéðinn Ormarsson. Skarphéðinn Ormarsson yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. Ámundi Hallmundsson kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. Skarphéðinn Ormarsson was out of position in the 28 minute of play, and Robert Hammond capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Robert Hammond really showed his touch with that goal: 3-0. With a little luck, Æsir Ásgarðr's Skarphéðinn Ormarsson got control of the ball when Robert Hammond tried to sneak it across the goal line. The corner first didn't look so dangerous but when Cliff Gurney got the ball he succeeded in some way to get through the defenders to deliver a very hard score. Result 4-0. 37 minutes into the match. Gul Keep stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ámundi Hallmundsson's shot from short distance in the 46th minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Sólbjörn Guðnason was the one to do the kick off. In the 53rd minute, Luke Lovell hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 55th match minute, Garlic Eaters was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by James Tuck to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Garlic Eaters's Robert Hammond got a free kick in the 60th minute. After 61 minutes of play, Æsir Ásgarðr's Sólbjörn Guðnason made it 4-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gul Keep was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Ámundi Hallmundsson in the 73rd minute of play forced Garlic Eaters's goalkeeper Gul Keep to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sólbjörn Guðnason recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 77th minute, Robert Hammond ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Skarphéðinn Ormarsson was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-1. James Tuck kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. In the 86th match minute, Æsir Ásgarðr was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rósmann Eðvarsson to maneuver through the defense. Skarphéðinn Ormarsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Robert Hammond in the 88th minute of play. Sólbjörn Guðnason recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. There was no doubt that Garlic Eaters were the better team. Garlic Eaters's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
