The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Xerxes Kamper to make the kick off. Alan Alajaan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Xerxes Kamper in the 52nd minute of the match. When Edson Neidlein came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the Möhnsen FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edson Neidlein couldn't finish the play. Xerxes Kamper didn't miss a given chance and shot in short distance 1-2 via right post in the game's 59th minute. Möhnsen FC's supporters showed their exhuberating excitement! A collision led to FC Muuga United getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Madis Rillo hit a great ball. In the 67th minute, Koit Loorens ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Hermann Althaus was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. In the 71st minute Edson Neidlein shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alan Alajaan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hermann Althaus didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Muuga United. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Xerxes Kamper in the 93rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alan Alajaan saved FC Muuga United from getting behind. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
