Spectators: 160 (Terracing: 120, Seating: 37, VIP seats: 3) Skjöldur Reimarsson started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. After 4 played minutes Æsir Ásgarðr got a freekick which was hit by Mathías Oddsson. 8 minutes into the match, Æsir Ásgarðr's goal looked a bit too open when Peer Hafner came free, but Kolbeinn Ármannsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kolbeinn Ármannsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Peer Hafner, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 32 minutes into the match, Æsir Ásgarðr's goal looked a bit too open when Peer Hafner came free, but Kolbeinn Ármannsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kolbeinn Ármannsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rudi Georgii, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kolbeinn Ármannsson came out of the goal in the 37th minute to try and stop a shot by Möhnsen FC's Rudi Georgii. But to his dismay, Rudi Georgii quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Æsir Ásgarðr's Skarphéðinn Ormarsson got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Peer Hafner was the one to do the kick off. Kolbeinn Ármannsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Peer Hafner in the 54th minute of play. In the 59th minute, Möhnsen FC's Peer Hafner ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Kolbeinn Ármannsson. Kolbeinn Ármannsson yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-3. Æsir Ásgarðr's Kolbeinn Ármannsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gerald Kirchner in the 62nd minute of play. Kolbeinn Ármannsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Peer Hafner in the 65th minute of play. After 69 played minutes Möhnsen FC got a freekick which was hit by Tim Hermes. Neisti Runólfsson took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 70th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Konrad Bogs. Möhnsen FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Möhnsen FC's Peer Hafner was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 72nd play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Skjöldur Reimarsson's late challenge caught a Möhnsen FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Skjöldur Reimarsson helped the player get up and apologised. In the 79th minute, Möhnsen FC's Peer Hafner ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Kolbeinn Ármannsson. Kolbeinn Ármannsson yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-5. In the 82nd minute Peer Hafner shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kolbeinn Ármannsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 91 minutes into the match, Æsir Ásgarðr's goalkeeper Kolbeinn Ármannsson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Peer Hafner. In the 95th minute Mathías Friðþjófsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Konrad Bogs saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Möhnsen FC played a much better game than Æsir Ásgarðr and deserved their victory. The Æsir Ásgarðr players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
