Rot-Weiss-Essen's Uwe Ziege played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dominic Beale in the 8th minute of play. 9 minutes into the match, Dominic Beale had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Uwe Ziege. Rot-Weiss-Essen's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dominic Beale was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Hektor Krieglmeier hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. The audience was convinced that Dominic Beale's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Uwe Ziege was relentless in the 16th minute of the game. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Albert Godsall showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 29th match minute, Egg Chasers FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sammy Alsford to maneuver through the defense. Vasco Jackisch could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 31st minute of the match, but Albert Godsall made a huge save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dominic Beale in the 33rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Uwe Ziege prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 36 minutes, Alex Barone mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Egg Chasers FC and the Rot-Weiss-Essen players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 36 played minutes Egg Chasers FC got a freekick which was hit by Alex Barone. Egg Chasers FC's Albert Godsall played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hektor Krieglmeier in the 37th minute of play. In the 39thth minute of the game Dominic Beale who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Rot-Weiss-Essen's Uwe Ziege was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Dominic Beale made a kick off. 52 minutes into the game, Damian Stonehouse cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Uwe Ziege was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 55th minute, Sammy Alsford got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Rot-Weiss-Essen's Uwe Ziege played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dominic Beale in the 56th minute of play. Dominic Beale's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Uwe Ziege firmly grabbed it by the left post. Egg Chasers FC's Dominic Beale pulled a muscle in his back after 61 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Egg Chasers FC's Bradley Blueman was substituted for Dominic Beale. In the 62nd match minute, Rot-Weiss-Essen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Björn Mokros to maneuver through the defense. Bradley Blueman's shot from long distance was a real pearl which went to the right and just passed Uwe Ziege - 1-4 was put on the score board in the 63rd minute. Gunther Schößler's late challenge caught a Egg Chasers FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gunther Schößler helped the player get up and apologised. After 70 played minutes Rot-Weiss-Essen got a freekick which was hit by Gunther Schößler. After 84 minutes of play, Rot-Weiss-Essen's Jo Felski made it 2-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Albert Godsall was left in no man's land by his defense there! Albert Godsall made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hektor Krieglmeier in the 86th minute of play. Albert Godsall showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vasco Jackisch in the 87th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Rot-Weiss-Essen's Vasco Jackisch got a free kick in the 94th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Bradley Blueman managed to get in a good position for a shot. Egg Chasers FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Bradley Blueman was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Uwe Ziege breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Egg Chasers FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
