The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Mart Poom took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Julian Joachim, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Uuno Viira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without 梅荣光 having to interfere. 9 minutes into the game, Jez Alcock cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Mart Poom was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 14 minutes of play, Leicester Foxes Academy's Julian Joachim made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mart Poom was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 17th minute, Uuno Viira left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Vila fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. In the 21st match minute, Vila was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bruno Nigol to maneuver through the defense. Mart Poom showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Peter Pennant in the 31st minute of the match. Julian Joachim received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Mart Poom tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Vila's Uuno Viira got a free kick in the 39th minute. Mart Poom made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julian Joachim in the 42nd minute of play. Eero Loorits's late challenge caught a Leicester Foxes Academy's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Eero Loorits helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Leicester Foxes Academy booed when Vila was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eero Loorits didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 48th minute, Peter Pennant managed to get in a good position for a shot. Leicester Foxes Academy's supporters rose to their feet, but Peter Pennant was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mart Poom breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Peter Pennant to strike the kick off in the second half. Uuno Viira might have been able to make a better finish in the 54th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over 梅荣光. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Uuno Viira ran back to his position shaking his head. 56 minutes had been played when some careless play by Vila's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Peter Pennant was slow to take the kick. During this time Leicester Foxes Academy's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Leicester Foxes Academy's Peter Pennant to fire away a dangerous shot which Mart Poom despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 58th minute, Uuno Viira made a precise shot to the right of 梅荣光. Leicester Foxes Academy's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. 62 minutes had been played when some careless play by Leicester Foxes Academy's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Adolf Nuume was slow to take the kick. During this time Vila's players had a chance to rest. In the 64th minute, Trey Read hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Leicester Foxes Academy made a substitution. Seth Bagshaw replaced Jez Alcock. After a defensive mix-up in Leicester Foxes Academy's zone, Uuno Viira stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. 梅荣光 came out of the goal and Uuno Viira tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Vila made a substitution. Pearu Ude replaced Uuno Viira. Julian Joachim who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 79thth minute tested the skills of Mart Poom when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 梅荣光 showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pearu Ude in the 80th minute of the match. In the 88th match minute, Vila was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adolf Nuume to maneuver through the defense. In the 89th minute the ball was on its way in behind Vila's goalkeeper Mart Poom, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After taking down the ball on Leicester Foxes Academy's corner Peter Pennant fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Mart Poom quite easily take care of the ball. A throw-in in the 93rd minute of the game was made by Andy Peake with Julian Joachim as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Leicester Foxes Academy's 梅荣光 played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pearu Ude in the 94th minute of play. In the 96thth minute of the game Pearu Ude who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Leicester Foxes Academy's 梅荣光 was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Vila succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Leicester Foxes Academy had controlled the match.
