Mart Poom didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Egg Chasers FC. Manole Iosifian might have been able to make a better finish in the 10th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Albert Godsall. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Manole Iosifian ran back to his position shaking his head. The audience was convinced that Dominic Beale's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mart Poom was relentless in the 14th minute of the game. After 16 played minutes Vila got a freekick which was hit by Kaupo Laur. Mart Poom showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dominic Beale, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. In the 21st match minute, Egg Chasers FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alex Barone to maneuver through the defense. After 23 minutes Egg Chasers FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Adolf Nuume who took care of the corner kick. After a rather tough play, Vila's Paul Oksmaa got a free kick in the 24th minute. After 25 played minutes Vila got a freekick which was hit by Ailar Kõlar. After 29 played minutes Egg Chasers FC got a freekick which was hit by Lee Bannatyne. Vila's Mart Poom played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joel Groom in the 32nd minute of play. 41 minutes into the match, Vila's goal looked a bit too open when Dominic Beale came free, but Mart Poom reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Vila getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Manole Iosifian hit a great ball. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Dominic Beale to strike the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Egg Chasers FC getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Damian Stonehouse hit a great ball. A hard shot 54 in the game by Damian Stonehouse from a close distance when the talented Mart Poom managed to make a qualified save. Vila's players were relieved. With his leg Mart Poom managed to avoid a goal in the 57thth minute, when Egg Chasers FC's Dominic Beale fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. If Sammy Alsford had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 61 minutes into the game, Manole Iosifian was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Vila's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Egg Chasers FC the free kick. Manole Iosifian kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. Dominic Beale blasted a shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Mart Poom having to make a save. The Egg Chasers FC fans' excitement grew in the 66th match minute when Egg Chasers FC's Damian Stonehouse looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After having played for 70 minutes, Damian Stonehouse managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Egg Chasers FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Damian Stonehouse was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 72nd minute there was a penalty for Egg Chasers FC. Franz Hardcastle stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Mart Poom. 1-3. Damian Stonehouse fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mart Poom having to interfere. In the 80th minute Kristofer Üllas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Albert Godsall saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Vila getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Ailar Kõlar hit a great ball. Mart Poom took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dominic Beale, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With his leg Mart Poom managed to avoid a goal in the 89thth minute, when Egg Chasers FC's Dominic Beale fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After 95 minutes, Kristofer Üllas mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Vila and the Egg Chasers FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Dominic Beale could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 98th minute of the match, but Mart Poom made a huge save. The Vila fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Egg Chasers FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
