In the 4th minute, Eckehard Tollmann hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Erdem Kazım stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Joel Groom's shot from short distance in the 9th minute. In the 21st minute Sammy Alsford shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erdem Kazım saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Sammy Alsford's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Erdem Kazım was relentless in the 21st minute of the game. After 24 played minutes Egg Chasers FC got a freekick which was hit by Len Taylor. Frido Stumpf sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Give Peace a Chance getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Lennie Langhammer hit a great ball. If Eckehard Tollmann had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Frido Stumpf's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Albert Godsall was relentless in the 37th minute of the game. Albert Godsall showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Konstantin Hirte in the 44th minute of the match. Sammy Alsford fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erdem Kazım having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Sammy Alsford was the one to do the kick off. Give Peace a Chance's Erdem Kazım played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sammy Alsford in the 53rd minute of play. In the 54th minute Frido Stumpf shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Albert Godsall saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 55th minute, Konstantin Hirte got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 56 minutes, Len Taylor mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Egg Chasers FC and the Give Peace a Chance players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 56th match minute, Egg Chasers FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Len Taylor to maneuver through the defense. In the 57th minute Frido Stumpf shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Albert Godsall saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 59 played minutes Give Peace a Chance got a freekick which was hit by Jack Neffin. Erdem Kazım made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sammy Alsford in the 60th minute of play. Give Peace a Chance's Erdem Kazım played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sammy Alsford in the 73rd minute of play. In the 79th minute of the match Egg Chasers FC got a corner. Give Peace a Chance's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Alex Barone ran over to the corner to take the kick. 80 minutes into the match, Egg Chasers FC's goal looked a bit too open when Frido Stumpf came free, but Albert Godsall reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 83rd minute, Joel Groom got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Joel Grooms short, quick shot in the 85thth minute got Erdem Kazım to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Erdem Kazım made an important save on a dangerous shot by Joel Groom in the 87th minute. In the 88th minute Sammy Alsford shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erdem Kazım saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Albert Godsall didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Konstantin Hirte went, in the 90th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Erdem Kazım showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joel Groom in the 94th minute of the match. For all the effort they put into the match, the Egg Chasers FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Give Peace a Chance.
