The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a rather tough play, Monks in Robes's Mouritz Søjbjerg got a free kick in the 2nd minute. Mouritz Søjbjerg scored 0-1 in the 4th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Teis Schneeberg, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Teis Schneeberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mouritz Søjbjerg, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. Teis Schneeberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Harold Truesen in the 11th minute of the match. In the 12th minute Leif Sjørlund shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Teis Schneeberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Teis Schneeberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leif Sjørlund, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ditlev Gørmez in the 19th minute of play forced F.C. København's goalkeeper Teis Schneeberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mouritz Søjbjerg in the 23rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Teis Schneeberg prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of F.C. København booed when Monks in Robes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rikki Oemann didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 26 played minutes, F.C. København's Arne Aarep shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Maurits Vesterherup came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in F.C. København reached it. Leif Sjørlund succeeded in the game's 28th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-2. After a rather tough play, Monks in Robes's Leif Sjørlund got a free kick in the 31st minute. 40 minutes into the game, Leif Sjørlund was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Monks in Robes's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave F.C. København the free kick. After 40 played minutes Monks in Robes got a freekick which was hit by Leif Sjørlund. Jens Borges hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Britt Thorsell during the 44th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 44th minute, Britt Thorsell hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 47 minutes into the match, F.C. København's goal looked a bit too open when Harold Truesen came free, but Teis Schneeberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Thor Nersling to make the kick off. The supporters of Monks in Robes booed when F.C. København was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rubert Budde didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, F.C. København's Marko Clod got a free kick in the 54th minute. 57 minutes into the match, F.C. København's goalkeeper Teis Schneeberg had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mouritz Søjbjerg. 67 minutes into the game, Monks in Robes's Harold Truesen nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Teis Schneeberg made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. Teis Schneeberg made a fantastic save in the 69th minute, when Harold Truesen sent off a good shot on target. In the 71st minute Harold Truesen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Teis Schneeberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mouritz Søjbjerg in the 74th minute of play forced F.C. København's goalkeeper Teis Schneeberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 75th minute Harold Truesen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Teis Schneeberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. F.C. København's Teis Schneeberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ditlev Gørmez in the 76th minute of play. Teis Schneeberg didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 78th minute, which inside left pole to 0-4. Wagner Grony hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. Teis Schneeberg acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 83rd minute, took the ball on the long shot from Harold Truesen. Teis Schneeberg came out of the goal in the 85th minute to try and stop a shot by Monks in Robes's Ditlev Gørmez. But to his dismay, Ditlev Gørmez quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. Teis Schneeberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leif Sjørlund in the 96th minute of play. When the final whistle sounded Monks in Robes left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than F.C. København.
