With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mouritz Søjbjerg in the 10th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Kai Hilljegerdes saved DJK Füchtel Vechta from getting behind. After 10 played minutes DJK Füchtel Vechta got a freekick which was hit by Ante Kopitz. The long shot by Harold Truesen in the 11th minute really tested Kai Hilljegerdes's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. In the 17th minute, Monks in Robes's Mouritz Søjbjerg ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Kai Hilljegerdes. Kai Hilljegerdes yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. 19 minutes into the game, Christoph Tiede cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Maurits Vesterherup was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Kai Hilljegerdes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mouritz Søjbjerg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to DJK Füchtel Vechta getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Ante Kopitz hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jamal Gläsel in the 25th minute of play forced Monks in Robes's goalkeeper Maurits Vesterherup to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. DJK Füchtel Vechta's Kai Hilljegerdes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ditlev Gørmez in the 50th minute of play. In the 52nd minute Harold Truesen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kai Hilljegerdes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Ditlev Gørmez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Monks in Robes fans' excitement grew in the 59th match minute when Monks in Robes's Leif Sjørlund looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Helge Jakob's late challenge caught a Monks in Robes's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card.
