Spectators: 175 (Terracing: 132, Seating: 40, VIP seats: 3) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Mouritz Søjbjerg started the match with the kick off. FRANK's Frank Brorsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mouritz Søjbjerg in the 3rd minute of play. Maurits Vesterherup made a fantastic save in the 5th minute, when Bingen Brorsson sent off a good shot on target. Harold Truesen might have been able to make a better finish in the 8th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Frank Brorsson. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Harold Truesen ran back to his position shaking his head. Frank Brorsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mouritz Søjbjerg in the 12th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Mouritz Søjbjerg's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Frank Brorsson was relentless in the 14th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ditlev Gørmez in the 15th minute of play forced FRANK's goalkeeper Frank Brorsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, FRANK's Dag Moe got a free kick in the 17th minute. After 19 played minutes FRANK got a freekick which was hit by Jørgen Stavem. Frank Brorsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mouritz Søjbjerg in the 20th minute of the match. In the 22nd minute Leif Sjørlund shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Frank Brorsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to FRANK getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Bingen Brorsson hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mouritz Søjbjerg in the 26th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Frank Brorsson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jørgen Stavem during the 38th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 38th minute, Jørgen Stavem hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mouritz Søjbjerg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Frank Brorsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leif Sjørlund, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. 48 minutes into the game, Monks in Robes's Harold Truesen nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Frank Brorsson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. After the first half Monks in Robes were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Øyvind Martinsen to strike the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, FRANK's Frank Brorsson got control of the ball when Ditlev Gørmez tried to sneak it across the goal line. Through an outstanding action, after 58 minutes, Frank Brorsson successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 63 minutes into the match, FRANK's goalkeeper Frank Brorsson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Harold Truesen. In the 64th minute, Bingen Brorsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Monks in Robes getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. The FRANK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. After 82 minutes of play FRANK's Jørgen Stavem was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 93rd play minute Harold Truesen came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Frank Brorsson. 1-4. When Keld Gartved fell near the penalty area in the 97th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Monks in Robes's protests and gave Keld Gartved a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of FRANK booed when Monks in Robes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 97 match minutes in a wonderful position. Keld Gartved didn't get a good kick on the ball. Øyvind Martinsen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 98th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The Monks in Robes supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Monks in Robes would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
