In the 29th minute, Roswin Westermayer left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Tiger fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Tiger's Kristian Willem Neuling played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jamal Gläsel in the 37th minute of play. When Folke Vielmann came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the DJK Füchtel Vechta fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Folke Vielmann couldn't finish the play. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jamal Gläsel was the one to do the kick off. Albrecht Kowalke hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. Kai Hilljegerdes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rolf Matzken, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Christoph Tiede managed to get in a good position for a shot. DJK Füchtel Vechta's supporters rose to their feet, but Christoph Tiede was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kristian Willem Neuling breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 59th minute of the match, Christoph Tiede tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Kristian Willem Neuling saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Kai Hilljegerdes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Günther Scharpe in the 67th minute of the match. When Jamal Gläsel was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 69 minutes had been played. Jamal Gläsel hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. Tiger's Fulko Schwaderer was substituted for Günther Scharpe. Jamal Gläsel kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. Kayacan Tahir kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. 78 minutes into the match, DJK Füchtel Vechta's Folke Vielmann sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Kristian Willem Neuling narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 81st match minute, Tiger was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arvid Wacker to maneuver through the defense. Folke Vielmann recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, DJK Füchtel Vechta's Folke Vielmann got a free kick in the 92nd minute.
