Liam Durrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fredrik Iqbal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Karsten Thorkildsen in the 13th minute of play forced Staffordshire Terrier FC's goalkeeper Liam Durrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Staffordshire Terrier FC's Babe Spencer got a free kick in the 16th minute. Staffordshire Terrier FC's Liam Durrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jan-Ivar Bjørgo in the 22nd minute of play. When the match had gone on for 34 minutes, Jan-Ivar Bjørgo put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Liam Durrant. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jan-Ivar Bjørgo in the 39th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Liam Durrant saved Staffordshire Terrier FC from getting behind. In the 40th minute, Ståle Nyberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd rose to their feet as Staffordshire Terrier FC's Brian Gibbons slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ludvik Engeland. That made the score 1-2 after 43 minutes of play.

Staffordshire Terrier FC's Liam Durrant proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 51st minute of the match, managed to save Staffordshire Terrier FC from getting a goal against them. Tore-Andre Finne did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-3 to the left of a surprised Liam Durrant 51 minutes into the match. Brian Gibbons charged in rather forcefully in the 64th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Brian Gibbons the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Staffordshire Terrier FC getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Brian Gibbons hit a great ball. The supporters of Kjønstad BF booed when Staffordshire Terrier FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tristram Gower didn't get a good kick on the ball. 66 minutes into the match, Kjønstad BF's Thomas Skadberg sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Liam Durrant narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 74th minute, Jonathan Cheetham made a precise shot to the right of Ludvik Engeland. Kjønstad BF's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-3. Jan-Ivar Bjørgo received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Liam Durrant came out and tried to block the shot, but Jan-Ivar Bjørgo slotted it home off the left post making it 2-4 in the 79th minute. In the 83rd minute, Les Howard hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Brian Gibbons had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Staffordshire Terrier FC getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Tristram Gower hit a great ball. Ståle Nyberg's late challenge caught a Staffordshire Terrier FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ståle Nyberg helped the player get up and apologised. In the 92nd match minute, Kjønstad BF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ståle Nyberg to maneuver through the defense. Jan-Ivar Bjørgo hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. The Staffordshire Terrier FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Kjønstad BF's performance. The match ended with a win for Kjønstad BF.
