Jerome Herlitizius showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roswin Westermayer in the 4th minute of the match. After 10 played minutes VfL Bad Nenndorf got a freekick which was hit by Mel Lang. When Detmar Stuchtey fell near the penalty area in the 28th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tiger's protests and gave Detmar Stuchtey a yellow card for diving instead. Detmar Stuchtey kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. In the 32nd minute Dierk Christidis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kristian Willem Neuling saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 40th minute of the match Jacob Nicolin sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Kristian Willem Neuling skillfully saved the ball. 47 minutes into the match, VfL Bad Nenndorf's goal looked a bit too open when Günther Scharpe came free, but Jerome Herlitizius reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Roswin Westermayer made the kick off in the second half. A collision led to VfL Bad Nenndorf getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Reto Haag hit a great ball. Tiger's Antonius Zagermann was substituted for Olgierd Lato. In the 61st minute, Reto Haag hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 62nd minute of the match Elis Färber shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jerome Herlitizius showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 73rd minute, Kayacan Tahir hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lou Harnack was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 74th minute. VfL Bad Nenndorf's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ken Raus in the 78th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jerome Herlitizius prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ken Raus fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jerome Herlitizius having to interfere. In the 90th minute the ball was on its way in behind VfL Bad Nenndorf's goalkeeper Jerome Herlitizius, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 92 minutes into the match, Tiger's goal looked a bit too open when Lou Harnack came free, but Kristian Willem Neuling reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 94 played minutes Tiger got a freekick which was hit by Fulko Schwaderer. After 96 minutes, Albrecht Kowalke mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Tiger and the VfL Bad Nenndorf players grew even worse after the yellow card. Albrecht Kowalke kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. Jacob Nicolin was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 97th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal.
