The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Kārlis Blāķis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Thorstein Loller, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. In the 9thth minute of the game Thorstein Loller who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Black horses's Kārlis Blāķis was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Johannes Stenberdt didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Auseklis Blitsons went, in the 13th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Thorstein Loller scored 1-1 in the 16th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Kārlis Blāķis, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Kārlis Blāķis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Thorstein Loller in the 20th minute of play. Sonni Engklint charged in rather forcefully in the 22nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sonni Engklint the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 22nd match minute, Strib Galacticos IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sonni Engklint to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Black horses's Kārlis Blāķis got control of the ball when Kris Metzon tried to sneak it across the goal line. Reinholds Hauks's late challenge caught a Strib Galacticos IF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Reinholds Hauks helped the player get up and apologised. Reinholds Hauks hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. In the 43rd minute of the match Sonni Engklint sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Kārlis Blāķis skillfully saved the ball. A hard shot 45 in the game by Kris Metzon from a close distance when the talented Kārlis Blāķis managed to make a qualified save. Black horses's players were relieved. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The wind increased when Thorstein Loller made the kick off in the second half. In the 50th match minute, Black horses was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Auseklis Blitsons to maneuver through the defense. When Thorlejf Hestbek fell near the penalty area in the 52nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Strib Galacticos IF's protests and gave Thorlejf Hestbek a yellow card for diving instead. After 52 played minutes Strib Galacticos IF got a freekick which was hit by Thorlejf Hestbek. Kārlis Blāķis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Thorstein Loller in the 55th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Thorstein Loller in the 56th minute of play forced Black horses's goalkeeper Kārlis Blāķis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kris Metzon in the 59th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Kārlis Blāķis prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 66th minute Kris Metzon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kārlis Blāķis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tejs Varias hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. Tejs Varias kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. In the 78th minute of the match Black horses got a corner. Strib Galacticos IF's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Reinholds Hauks ran over to the corner to take the kick. 80 minutes had been played when some careless play by Strib Galacticos IF's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Reinholds Hauks was slow to take the kick. During this time Black horses's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Reinholds Hauks almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Strib Galacticos IF's Johannes Stenberdt did a great save. 81 minutes into the match, Strib Galacticos IF's goalkeeper Johannes Stenberdt had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Aivis Bukevics. Black horses's Kārlis Blāķis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Halfdan Hornegaard in the 83rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Thorstein Loller in the 84th minute of play forced Black horses's goalkeeper Kārlis Blāķis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tejs Varias during the 86th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 86 minutes into the match, Strib Galacticos IF's goal looked a bit too open when Reinholds Hauks came free, but Johannes Stenberdt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kārlis Blāķis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Thorstein Loller in the 88th minute of play. John John's late challenge caught a Strib Galacticos IF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. John John helped the player get up and apologised. Strib Galacticos IF's Thorstein Loller got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
