The corner went over the outstretched arms of SV Bad Harzburg's goalie and right to Teis Bager. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. SV Bad Harzburg's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. After a rather tough play, SV Bad Harzburg's Klaus Vielhaus got a free kick in the 45th minute. Tim Wiese showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Thorstein Loller in the 46th minute of the match. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Strib Galacticos IF's Halfdan Hornegaard was substituted for Nikolai Ruthand. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Thorstein Loller made a kick off. After 52 played minutes SV Bad Harzburg got a freekick which was hit by Larry von Stetten. After a rather tough play, SV Bad Harzburg's Halldor Sönksen got a free kick in the 55th minute. SV Bad Harzburg's Tim Wiese played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Enzo Francescoli in the 62nd minute of play. Halldor Sönksen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Johannes Stenberdt having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Thorstein Loller in the 66th minute of play forced SV Bad Harzburg's goalkeeper Tim Wiese to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. SV Bad Harzburg:s Tim Wiese showed great skill when he stopped Sonni Engklint:s penalty. Tim Wiese showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Enzo Francescoli in the 70th minute of the match. Enzo Francescoli took the ball and in the 70 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tim Wiese. Tim Wiese dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Klaus Vielhaus during the 75th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 75 played minutes SV Bad Harzburg got a freekick which was hit by Klaus Vielhaus. Tim Wiese showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Thorstein Loller, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. When Thorlejf Hestbek was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 80 minutes had been played. In the 80th match minute, Strib Galacticos IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Thorlejf Hestbek to maneuver through the defense. Tim Wiese took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Thorstein Loller, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thorstein Loller might have been able to make a better finish in the 92nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tim Wiese. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Thorstein Loller ran back to his position shaking his head. Tim Wiese showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Halfdan Hornegaard in the 96th minute of the match. Halldor Sönksen could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 98th minute of the match, but Johannes Stenberdt made a huge save. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Strib Galacticos IF had played much better football throughout.
