Spectators: 153 (Terracing: 115, Seating: 35, VIP seats: 3) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Brandon Teisseire took the kick off in the first half of the match. Kleon Kaplatzis's late challenge caught a Chaponnay FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Kleon Kaplatzis helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to MONAXOS getting a freekick after 2 minutes play. Kleon Kaplatzis hit a great ball. Renos Valantis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arthur Rannou, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. A collision led to Chaponnay FC getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Kevan Brossier hit a great ball. In the 7th minute, Arthur Rannou ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Renos Valantis was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Fotis Stamatakos received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Dilan Bobet came out and tried to block the shot, but Fotis Stamatakos slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 12th minute. In the 16th minute Brandon Teisseire shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Renos Valantis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thomas Karkantos's late challenge caught a Chaponnay FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Thomas Karkantos helped the player get up and apologised. Thomas Karkantos kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. 22 minutes into the match, Kevan Brossier notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of MONAXOS's Renos Valantis. Renos Valantis was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Arthur Rannou blasted a shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Renos Valantis having to make a save. When Brandon Teisseire came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the Chaponnay FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Brandon Teisseire couldn't finish the play. 35 minutes into the game, Arthur Rannou cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-4. Renos Valantis was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Thomas Karkantos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 40 minutes into the match, Brandon Teisseire had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Renos Valantis. MONAXOS's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Brandon Teisseire was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-5. After 44 minutes, Batiste Goguet mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Chaponnay FC and the MONAXOS players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 44th match minute, Chaponnay FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Batiste Goguet to maneuver through the defense. Disappointed in the 1-5 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

A collision led to Chaponnay FC getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Brandon Teisseire hit a great ball. Fotis Stamatakos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Dilan Bobet tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Renos Valantis made an important save on a dangerous shot by Kevan Brossier in the 57th minute. Arthur Rannou received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Renos Valantis came out and tried to block the shot, but Arthur Rannou slotted it home off the left post making it 1-6 in the 59th minute. Arthur Rannou received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Renos Valantis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 65th minute, Brandon Teisseire ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Renos Valantis was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-7. Chaponnay FC's Greg Laurendeau was substituted for Steve Carrier. Renos Valantis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arthur Rannou, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 77 minutes into the game, Arthur Rannou recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Renos Valantis. Arthur Rannou showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-9. In the 81st minute of the match MONAXOS got a corner. Chaponnay FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Kleon Kaplatzis ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led MONAXOS's Kleon Kaplatzis to fire away a dangerous shot which Dilan Bobet despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 86 minutes into the game, Florent Guerry was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Chaponnay FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave MONAXOS the free kick. Fotis Stamatakos blasted a shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Dilan Bobet having to make a save. 90 minutes into the game, Arthur Rannou recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Renos Valantis. Arthur Rannou showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-10. The Chaponnay FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Chaponnay FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
