Iakovos Papafotopoulos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 5th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Egemen Emek in the 8th minute of play forced Atletico de Madrid's goalkeeper Nikolas Karkamanis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 9 minutes into the match, Atletico de Madrid's goal looked a bit too open when Ladislao Etxekopar came free, but Nikolas Karkamanis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of PAOK B booed when Atletico de Madrid was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Thanasis Vamvoukas didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Valerios Souliotis came up free with the goalie in the 12th minute, the PAOK B fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Valerios Souliotis couldn't finish the play. 13 minutes into the game, Nikos Papapanagiotou was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Atletico de Madrid's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave PAOK B the free kick. PAOK B's Theofilos Chronatos was substituted for Thanasis Papaspyrou. The supporters of PAOK B booed when Atletico de Madrid was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nikos Papapanagiotou didn't get a good kick on the ball. Egemen Emek took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 15th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Nikolas Karkamanis. Atletico de Madrid's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After 16 played minutes Atletico de Madrid got a freekick which was hit by Thanasis Vamvoukas. In the 17th minute, Theofilos Chronatos ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Nikolas Karkamanis was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. After 21 played minutes PAOK B got a freekick which was hit by Theofilos Chronatos. With a little luck, PAOK B's Cecilio Ortle got control of the ball when Iakovos Papafotopoulos tried to sneak it across the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Thanasis Vamvoukas in the 26th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cecilio Ortle saved PAOK B from getting behind. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Thanasis Vamvoukas during the 27th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Atletico de Madrid getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Thanasis Vamvoukas hit a great ball. In the 29th match minute, Atletico de Madrid was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nikos Papapanagiotou to maneuver through the defense. Nikolas Karkamanis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Theofilos Chronatos, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Egemen Emek in the 46th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nikolas Karkamanis saved Atletico de Madrid from getting behind.

After 53 played minutes Atletico de Madrid got a freekick which was hit by Panos Spyroulis. Nikolas Karkamanis was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 54th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Egemen Emek. 57 minutes into the game, Theofilos Chronatos recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Nikolas Karkamanis. Theofilos Chronatos showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-2. Nikolas Karkamanis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Valerios Souliotis, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. Marios Kailas kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. The long shot by Egemen Emek in the 64th minute really tested Nikolas Karkamanis's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. After 66 minutes of play, PAOK B's Theofilos Chronatos made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Nikolas Karkamanis was left in no man's land by his defense there! The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Nixon Richard during the 69th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 71st minute of the match Panos Spyroulis shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Cecilio Ortle showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nikolas Karkamanis prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to PAOK B getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Ben White hit a great ball. Ladislao Etxekopar kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. The Atletico de Madrid fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. PAOK B were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
