After 5 played minutes Glyka Nera FC got a freekick which was hit by Valerios Brizolakis. The crowd rose to their feet as Giannis Tzanetos kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Sakis Karvouniaris. That made the score 1-0 in the 9 minute of play. Fotis Triantafyllopoulos kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. In the 12th minute, Eugenios Ioannidis got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Theofanis Marinakis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eugenios Ioannidis, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. A collision led to ΟΦΗ getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Michalis Semos hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Michalis Semos in the 21st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sakis Karvouniaris prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Michalis Semos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Sakis Karvouniaris tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 27th match minute, Glyka Nera FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marios Tomaras to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Thalis Papaefthimiou in the 32nd minute of play forced ΟΦΗ's goalkeeper Theofanis Marinakis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Glyka Nera FC's Sakis Karvouniaris played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Michalis Semos in the 35th minute of play. Nikos Kalkavouras sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
