Spectators: 159 (Terracing: 120, Seating: 36, VIP seats: 3) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Dino Cimino started the match with the kick off. Ciro Del Vecchio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Flavio Scrima, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sporting Club Sicilia's Angelo Gizzi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 7th minute of the match, managed to save Sporting Club Sicilia from getting a goal against them. Dino Cimino who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 8thth minute tested the skills of Angelo Gizzi when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After some careless play in the Sporting Club Sicilia defense, Attilio Iob kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Angelo Gizzi. The Sporting Club Sicilia fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Angelo Gizzi should have stopped the shot. Dino Cimino kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. In the 20th minute Flavio Scrima shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ciro Del Vecchio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 27th match minute, Sporting Club Sicilia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edoardo Mozzoni to maneuver through the defense. In the 39th minute Enzo De Vecchis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ciro Del Vecchio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gianluca Scamacca sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gianluca Scamacca stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Gianluca Scamacca came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the Sporting Club Sicilia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gianluca Scamacca couldn't finish the play. With a little luck, Villa Gordiani's Ciro Del Vecchio got control of the ball when Edoardo Mozzoni tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, Sporting Club Sicilia's Gianluca Scamacca got a free kick in the 67th minute. In the 74th minute of the match, Gianluca Scamacca got a very nice opportunity to score, but Ciro Del Vecchio was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 78th minute of the match Ercole Iachini shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Angelo Gizzi showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Ciro Del Vecchio was a little too slow when Gianluca Scamacca got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 89th minute. The score was now 1-5. The Villa Gordiani fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Sporting Club Sicilia were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
