Spectators: 159 (Terracing: 120, Seating: 36, VIP seats: 3) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Bruno Ernst kicked off to start the match. Concetto Bani took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bruno Ernst, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 8 minutes into the match, Calenzano's goalkeeper Concetto Bani had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mickael Pagias. Concetto Bani made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bruno Ernst in the 9th minute of play. In the 20th match minute, Calenzano was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Enrico Di Gennaro to maneuver through the defense. 24 minutes into the match, R.C. Marseille's Honoré Lottin sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Concetto Bani narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 36th minute, R.C. Marseille's Mickael Pagias ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Concetto Bani. Concetto Bani yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-0. In the 47th minute, Bruno Ernst reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Concetto Bani. The goal made the score 4-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Enrico Di Gennaro made a kick off. The supporters of R.C. Marseille booed when Calenzano was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Enrico Di Gennaro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Concetto Bani didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Bruno Ernst went, in the 54th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. Concetto Bani showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Teddy Wendling, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bruno Ernst in the 59th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Concetto Bani saved Calenzano from getting behind. In the 60th minute, Patrice Arlot ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Concetto Bani was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mickael Pagias in the 65th minute of play forced Calenzano's goalkeeper Concetto Bani to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 69th minute, Bruno Ernst ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Concetto Bani was frozen by the shot and now it was 7-0. Honoré Lottin kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. Concetto Bani showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mickael Pagias, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. Patrice Arlot kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. 77 minutes into the match, Fortunato Pugliese dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Félicien Boucard, 7-1. In the 81st minute, Mickael Pagias ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Concetto Bani was frozen by the shot and now it was 8-1. Calenzano's Fortunato Pugliese got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Concetto Bani showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mickael Pagias in the 87th minute of the match. Concetto Bani didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Patrice Arlot went, in the 89th minute, to the upper right corner, 9-1 was the resulting score. In the 96th minute, Bruno Ernst ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Concetto Bani was frozen by the shot and now it was 10-1. When the referee ended the match the R.C. Marseille players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
