An unexpectedly hard shot by Vladimiros Lagonikakis in the 4th minute of play forced Saronida FC's goalkeeper Petros Ntonas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Dimitris Koubouris fell near the penalty area in the 6th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Saronida FC's protests and gave Dimitris Koubouris a yellow card for diving instead. In the 6th match minute, Saronida FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dimitris Koubouris to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Liverpool F.C. YNWA's Vrasidas Bolos got control of the ball when Antonis Vrazilianos tried to sneak it across the goal line. YNWA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vladimiros Kaklamanakos to maneuver through the defense. 24 minutes into the match, Simos Zacharenios dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Vrasidas Bolos, 1-2. After 26 played minutes Liverpool F.C. YNWA got a freekick which was hit by Fivos Zachakis. In the 73rd minute Simos Zacharenios shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vrasidas Bolos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Saronida FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
