In the 23rd minute, Takis Michaloliakos ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Federico Liberati was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. The crowd rose to their feet as Liverpool F.C. YNWA's Takis Michaloliakos slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Federico Liberati. That made the score 2-1 after 28 minutes of play. After 41 minutes, Vladimiros Lagonikakis mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Liverpool F.C. YNWA and the Sporting Club Sicilia players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Sporting Club Sicilia booed when Liverpool F.C. YNWA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vladimiros Lagonikakis didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 43rd minute of the match Amos Giusto shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Vrasidas Bolos showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Vrasidas Bolos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emanuele Danza in the 44th minute of play. Vrasidas Bolos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carlo Colaneri, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gianluca Scamacca to make the kick off. Liverpool F.C. YNWA's defense didn't have a chance, in the 51st minute, when Flavio Scrima scored to the left of an out of position Vrasidas Bolos, making the score, 3-2. Takis Michaloliakos might have been able to make a better finish in the 62nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Federico Liberati. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Takis Michaloliakos ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 67th minute Emanuele Danza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vrasidas Bolos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vrasidas Bolos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gianluca Scamacca in the 72nd minute of the match. Federico Liberati made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Takis Michaloliakos in the 82nd minute of play. Takis Michaloliakos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, Liverpool F.C. YNWA's Vrasidas Bolos got control of the ball when Gianluca Scamacca tried to sneak it across the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Flavio Scrima in the 91st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Vrasidas Bolos saved Liverpool F.C. YNWA from getting behind.
