Cesare Cesarini hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. 23 minutes into the match, Kerkyra FC's goal looked a bit too open when Flavio Combi came free, but Loukas Kois reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Montechiarugolo AFC:s Carmine Cattaneo showed great skill when he stopped Giorgos Maragozis:s penalty. 2-0 came in the 29th minute when Giorgos Maragozis all by himself managed to get straight through the defense and place the ball into the net to the right of Carmine Cattaneo. 31 minutes into the match, Montechiarugolo AFC's goalkeeper Carmine Cattaneo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Giorgos Maragozis. Ferruccio Caretti charged in rather forcefully in the 33rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ferruccio Caretti the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 33rd match minute, Montechiarugolo AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ferruccio Caretti to maneuver through the defense. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Marinos Katsiaros during the 37th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Marinos Katsiaros kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. Montechiarugolo AFC's Carmine Cattaneo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 40th minute of the match, managed to save Montechiarugolo AFC from getting a goal against them. After 43 played minutes Kerkyra FC got a freekick which was hit by Marinos Katsiaros. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Giorgos Maragozis to strike the kick off in the second half. Cesare Cesarini might have been able to make a better finish in the 51st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Loukas Kois. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cesare Cesarini ran back to his position shaking his head. Francesco Tacco charged in rather forcefully in the 54th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Francesco Tacco the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 55 played minutes Montechiarugolo AFC got a freekick which was hit by Francesco Tacco. Theocharis Pouliadis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Carmine Cattaneo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Marinos Katsiaros kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. In the 60th minute, Flavio Combi made a precise shot to the right of Loukas Kois. Kerkyra FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. Flavio Combi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Loukas Kois tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Kerkyra FC's Loukas Kois got control of the ball when Flavio Combi tried to sneak it across the goal line. Kerkyra FC's Loukas Kois played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bruno Rosati in the 95th minute of play. The Kerkyra FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Montechiarugolo AFC's performance. The match ended with a win for Montechiarugolo AFC.
