Theofilos Tripitsidis came free with the goalkeeper in the 32nd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Eugenio Citrullo could save by the left post. Eugenio Citrullo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Giorgos Maragozis in the 43rd minute. Kerkyra FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Daniele Castellazzi was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. The Kerkyra FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Maritek FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
