In a very dangerous position, a player in Farafulla FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 7th minute. Penalty! Wlodzimierz Rawa didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Amedeo Ruggeri went, in the 12th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. The supporters of Green Horses booed when Farafulla FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Elia Fantasia didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 21st minute Antonis Ikonomeas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dave Valeriani saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vaggelis Menegakis was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 25th minute. Green Horses's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. After some careless play in the Green Horses defense, Amedeo Ruggeri kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Wlodzimierz Rawa. The Green Horses fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Wlodzimierz Rawa should have stopped the shot. A collision led to Farafulla FC getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Arrigo Caroli hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ciro Tacco in the 45th minute of play forced Green Horses's goalkeeper Wlodzimierz Rawa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 45th minute, Evripidis Tachtsidis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Elia Fantasia took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 46th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Wlodzimierz Rawa. Green Horses's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ciro Tacco stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute, Antonis Ikonomeas left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Green Horses fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-2. When Anfilogino Benvenuto fell near the penalty area in the 58th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Farafulla FC's protests and gave Anfilogino Benvenuto a yellow card for diving instead.
