When Sliema Dragons FC's Isaac Grimaud in the 7th minute got a chance for a shot 7th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye GREEK ARMY's goalie prevented a goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 12th minute, Manos Konstantakos managed to get in a good position for a shot. GREEK ARMY's supporters rose to their feet, but Manos Konstantakos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marcelo Severiano breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ryan Grima sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Isaac Grimaud's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Themos Batiropoulos was relentless in the 19th minute of the game. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Isaac Grimaud in the 23rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Themos Batiropoulos prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Valentinos Vrisimitzakis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcelo Severiano having to interfere. 27 minutes into the match, GREEK ARMY's goal looked a bit too open when Isaac Grimaud came free, but Themos Batiropoulos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 29th minute, Domingos Herena hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. GREEK ARMY's Valentinos Vrisimitzakis couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 30th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Sliema Dragons FC. When the match had gone on for 32 minutes, Isaac Grimaud put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Themos Batiropoulos. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Isaac Grimaud in the 36th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Themos Batiropoulos prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Isaac Grimaud in the 38th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Themos Batiropoulos saved GREEK ARMY from getting behind. If Isaac Grimaud had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. GREEK ARMY's Themos Batiropoulos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ryan Grima in the 44th minute of play. Isaac Grimaud recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Isaac Grimaud made a kick off. With a little luck, GREEK ARMY's Themos Batiropoulos got control of the ball when Isaac Grimaud tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Isaac Grimaud in the 54th minute of play forced GREEK ARMY's goalkeeper Themos Batiropoulos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Ryan Grima had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marcelo Severiano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stamatis Zindros, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to GREEK ARMY getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Manos Konstantakos hit a great ball. After 66 played minutes Sliema Dragons FC got a freekick which was hit by Domingos Herena. Sliema Dragons FC's Isaac Grimaud got a good chance for a goal in the 69th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Themos Batiropoulos was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Leo Scalpello showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-3 in the 71 minute of play. Ryan Grima's late challenge caught a GREEK ARMY's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ryan Grima helped the player get up and apologised. With a little luck, GREEK ARMY's Themos Batiropoulos got control of the ball when Ryan Grima tried to sneak it across the goal line. Themos Batiropoulos was a little too slow when Ryan Grima got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 80th minute. The score was now 0-4. When Domingos Herena fell near the penalty area in the 83rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sliema Dragons FC's protests and gave Domingos Herena a yellow card for diving instead. Domingos Herena kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. After 85 played minutes Sliema Dragons FC got a freekick which was hit by Patrick Buttigieg. Themos Batiropoulos didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 91st minute, which inside left pole to 0-6. Isaac Grimaud sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The GREEK ARMY fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Sliema Dragons FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
