Rossangeles's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Luponero FC the free kick. After a rather tough play, Rossangeles's Emilio Donato got a free kick in the 6th minute. The audience held their breath when Alvaro Marsili in the 7th minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Biagio Firmani's left hand side. Arrigo Oddi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marco Anaya, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rossangeles were awarded a corner in the 15th minute after Luponero FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Federico Rossetti took the corner. Alberigo Di Placido charged in rather forcefully in the 16th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alberigo Di Placido the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 16th match minute, Rossangeles was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alberigo Di Placido to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Luponero FC's Alvaro Marsili got a free kick in the 18th minute. Luponero FC's Arrigo Oddi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 36th minute of the match, managed to save Luponero FC from getting a goal against them. In the 36th minute, Joaquin Ponte reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Arrigo Oddi. The goal made the score 2-0. Anselmo Fantozzi kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Fulvio Piacente to make the kick off. Arrigo Oddi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joaquin Ponte, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. In the 53rd minute, Emilio Donato hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 61 played minutes Rossangeles got a freekick which was hit by Anselmo Fantozzi. When Alvaro Marsili came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the Luponero FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alvaro Marsili couldn't finish the play. Biagio Firmani was a little too slow when Fulvio Piacente got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 63rd minute. The score was now 2-1. A collision led to Rossangeles getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Cristiano Cardillo hit a great ball. Biagio Firmani showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fulvio Piacente, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. In the 70th minute, Fulvio Piacente got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Arrigo Oddi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marco Anaya, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground.
