Ferruccio Alfani made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fulvio Piacente in the 6th minute of play. When Enzo Oriali came up free with the goalie in the 9th minute, the Luponero FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Enzo Oriali couldn't finish the play. In the last second Ferruccio Alfani throw himself and got hold of the ball when Fulvio Piacente in the 16thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fulvio Piacente in the 22nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ferruccio Alfani saved BRAL VAL from getting behind. In the 28th match minute, BRAL VAL was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eugenio Micucci to maneuver through the defense. When Enzo Oriali fell near the penalty area in the 41st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Luponero FC's protests and gave Enzo Oriali a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of BRAL VAL booed when Luponero FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Enzo Oriali didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alberigo Lucidi hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Fulvio Piacente scored 1-0 in the 53rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ferruccio Alfani, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Ermanno Mazzetti charged in rather forcefully in the 58th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ermanno Mazzetti the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 59 played minutes Luponero FC got a freekick which was hit by Ermanno Mazzetti. Emanuele Martinelli hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. After 65 minutes, Fulvio Piacente mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Luponero FC and the BRAL VAL players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 67th minute of the match, Demetrio Gelsomini got a very nice opportunity to score, but Arrigo Oddi was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After 75 played minutes Luponero FC got a freekick which was hit by Elia Chioda. In the 79th minute the ball was on its way in behind BRAL VAL's goalkeeper Ferruccio Alfani, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Alberigo Lucidi charged in rather forcefully in the 81st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. In the 83rd minute of the match Alvaro Marsili sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ferruccio Alfani skillfully saved the ball. In the 94th minute of the match Ermanno Banana shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ferruccio Alfani showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Luponero FC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
